Donetsk .NET UserGroup Discontinued

On October 21, 2011, in the Donetsk branch of the Computer Academy "STEP," a new spacious conference hall gathered over 75 people. Among them were experienced software developers and students enthusiastic about computer technologies and development on the .NET platform. It was the first meeting of the Donetsk .NET developer community.

Ivano-Frankivsk

Built in the mid-17th century as a fortress. The fortress was slowly transformed into one of the most prominent cities at the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains. A city visitor may find elements of various cultures intertwined within Ivano-Frankivsk, the Polish city hall, the Austro-Hungarian city's business center, the Soviet prefabricated apartment blocks at the city's rural–urban fringe, and others. Kharkiv

region
Kharkiv is the second-largest city in Ukraine. Located in the northeast of the country, it is the largest city of the historic Slobozhanshchyna region. Kharkiv was founded in 1654, and after humble beginnings as a small fortress, it grew to be a major centre of Ukrainian industry. Kharkiv was the first capital of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, from December 1919 to January 1934, after which the capital relocated to Kyiv. Presently, Kharkiv is a major cultural, scientific, educational, transport and industrial centre of Ukraine, with numerous museums, theatres and libraries, including the Annunciation and Dormition Cathedrals, the Derzhprom building in Freedom Square, and the National University of Kharkiv. Kharkiv was a host city for UEFA Euro 2012.

Vinnytsia

Vinnytsia is a city in western Ukraine, located on the banks of the Southern Bug. It serves as the administrative center of Vinnytsia Oblast. It is the largest city in the historic region of Podillia. The city's roots date back to the Middle Ages. It was under Lithuanian and Polish control for centuries. From 1653 to 1667, Vinnytsia was a regimental city of the Hetman state, and in 1793, it was ceded to the Russian Empire. During the 1930s and early 1940s, the city was the site of massacres, first during Stalin's purges and then during the Holocaust in Ukraine and the Nazi occupation. A Cold War–era airbase was located near the city. Currently, Vinnytsia is developing as one of the most comfortable cities for life in independent Ukraine.
